Why did you choose to read this particular book?

What peaks your interest? What is the book about? What does it promise to deliver?

I saw several screenshots of the books across social media with profound quotes. I’m also familiar with Shaykh Ninowy so was keen to see what he shares.

Summary of book

The book is split across four chapters with quotes relating to the subject. There is one quote per page. Each quote is different and a reminder to improve something, give some hope.

The chapters are as follows:

  • Awakening to Self-Realisation
  • Signs on the Path of Love
  • Illumination
  • Live Your Love

What stood out for you

It is full of universally accepted truths. I also like the format of the book, beautiful cover with single quotes on each page, it allows you to focus.

Key Points

It is the sort of book you can keep on your coffee table and refer to it randomly, when you need inspiration, a reminder, an uplift.

What you dislike

Has the book met its objective?

Yes it definitely has met the brief. I’d be interested to know if the Shaykh has worked on this book independently or jointly with others, or if someone else has penned the quotes, but ‘gifted’ it to he Shaykh to publish. Or maybe each quote is based on Quran and Hadith directly but reworded.

What would you change

What type of reader would enjoy this book

All Muslims who are open to seek advice from others and willingly to work on themselves.

Would you recommend this book

Yes I would.
